The new CFO of CEMIT Group

CEMIT Group has again made an important recruitment move, this time with Inga Gjervik as the new Chief Financial Officer. Inga most recently comes from Ambita AS.

Stig Seljeseth, interim CEO and Chairman of the board experienced in working together with Inga Gjervik in earlier positions, shares his thoughts.

“As part of the company’s expansion, it is with great pleasure announcing the recruitment of Inga Gjervik as the new Chief Financial Officer of CEMIT Group. I have great confidence in introducing Inga to the CFO position to help CEMIT and management focus on the company’s continual strategy, development and support for managers.”

Inga will officially step into the position in the middle of May. Here Inga gives her short brief about herself:

“For the last 3 years I have had the position as the CFO of Ambita with the overall responsibility for finance, accounting, payroll and finance for the group; including tasks such as reporting, business reviews, forecasts and KPIs. I was also involved in the acquisition of the Forecast Center in 2019 and in 2021 the sale of Ambita from the Ministry of Trade and Fisheries to Sikri, where I had the overall responsibility for the legal and financial due diligence. In addition to this, I have been part of the boards of our subsidiaries and also part of the Group management team. Earlier in my carrier I also worked in the PR and comunication company Burson-Marsteller, first as Project Controller, then CFO and finally CFO för Burson-Marsteller Nordics. Speaking of me personally I am 40 years old, married, have 2 children and live at Sagene in Oslo. A lot of my free time is currently spent with children, otherwise I love travelling and hiking in the mountains. I can’t wait to get started in Cemit and to be part of the exciting journey ahead and to get to know everyone.”
