June New Hires

Please welcome this month’s newest hires!

First we have Tonje Heftye Theiste. As Head of Administration, Tonje has worked within IT and engineering to build an extensive background in finance, business development, and HR. Passionate about facilitating business operations, executing initiatives, improving processes, and building winning teams with great people, her goal is to help CEMIT run as efficiently and effectively as possible.

We asked her to share some thoughts about joining CEMIT, and this is what she had to say:

“I am proud to join the CEMIT team and to be part of the new future of railway infrastructure digitalization. Our unique combination of world class technology and railway expertise will make us the preferred partner for the modernization we see in the railway industry today.”

Next up we have Stephan Marstrander. Stephan has a master’s degree in traffic engineering from TU Braunschweig, with a focus on railway safety and operation. His experience stems from project and sales management within railway and light rail signalling. Although born and raised in Norway, Stephan has lived in Germany for over a decade and is eager to continue to build the connection between this region and the Nordics.

We asked Stephan to share some thoughts about joining CEMIT, and this is what he had to say:

“I’m delighted to join an experienced company that is so dynamic and future-oriented. The German-speaking countries have an established market with fierce competition, but there is a great hunger for new knowledge, optimization, and innovation. By expanding our activities to Germany and Central Europe I am convinced that we will forge great relationships with many different stakeholders. Not only will that bring added value to all parties, but it will help modernize both urban and heavy rail.”

Welcome Tonje and Stephan!
